*smirks* It's a pity we didn't have these types of trees in Egypt. I can think of several people who would have been far better served if they had been poisoned with something like this.

Oui, and not just as fruits. Would that I could have gotten hold of some of the blossoming flowers, it would have made a rather captivating perfume, don't you think? *thinks and starts to grin*

I hadn't really considered that, but yes. That would have been quite interesting. Or even masssage unguents. Of course, something would have to be done to protect the massuesse - or not.

I was thinking more along the lines of - or not. But then, as I would not be the masseuse, it matters not to me. Let one be the victim, and the other convicted of murder, if they are even able to rinse the poisons off their hands in time and it doesn't eat through the flesh down to bone.

But what would be wrong with it eating down to the bone? I would have loved to have seen someone explain that one to the embalmers! The effect would have to wear off after a time by absorption into the tissue. I wonder if the acids would render the flesh more 'liquid'.

I find it rather hard to believe that a murderer would allow his own poisons to harm him that irrevocably. It would be far better for a Judge to believe the evidence planted if there are so many such profound questions asked. And that would be one of them, I should think.
